ChiefOS works with assistants that support a remote MCP connection. Choose an access key or your client’s supported OAuth sign-in flow.
- Create your access key.
Open your workspace and create a ChiefOS key. Keep it private.
- Add the remote server.
Use this server URL:
https://chiefos.conversint.ai/mcp
For an access-key connection, use your ChiefOS key as the Bearer token. The client must support Streamable HTTP and Bearer authentication.
- Keep working normally.
Ask your assistant the same way you do now: “What am I missing in this plan?” or “Help me make this decision.” The connection gives the assistant instructions to find and apply the right ChiefOS method in the background. No skill names, commands, or local installation are needed.
Connecting with Codex CLI
Set your ChiefOS key in the CHIEFOS_API_KEY environment variable, then add the server:
codex mcp add chiefos --url https://chiefos.conversint.ai/mcp --bearer-token-env-var CHIEFOS_API_KEY
Once connected, ChiefOS appears as part of the assistant’s available capabilities. You do not need to learn its internal tools or graph.
Send the context by email.
A request, a set of notes, or a document to work through. The email workflow reads the thread and attachments, applies the right method, and replies in the same conversation.
- Set up your workspace.
Sign in to your workspace. Managed email execution supports a shared team Codex subscription or an optional personal connection.
- Email your request.
Send to chiefos@agentmail.to from your signed-in address. Write the way you would to a trusted colleague and attach anything it should read.
- Receive work you can use.
ChiefOS returns the answer and, when needed, Word or PDF deliverables. It can read supported document text, tables, images, and scanned PDF pages; files it cannot decode are identified in the reply.
Bring the context that matters. ChiefOS applies business methods to the information you supply. It keeps missing evidence and assumptions visible.
