Skill refinement

Capture, triage, and resolve review feedback for a collaboratively maintained agent skill. Use when feedback needs a durable ledger, when recording a fix and its evidence, when reporting open or blocked findings, or when turning evaluated feedback into a bounded revision. Does not infer approval or close findings without evidence.

# Skill refinement

Use this method to turn review feedback into traceable improvements without losing the original evidence or overstating what was validated.

Host operations and ownership

Read `references/host-operations.md` before accessing or changing a ledger, artifact, review source, or version-control record. If the host cannot perform an authorized write, return a proposed update batch instead. A feedback ledger is the system of record for its individual findings; do not replace it with a general task list.

Modes

| Intent | Mode | Reference | |---|---|---| | Capture feedback from supplied text or an authorized source | `capture` | `references/capture.md` | | Record evidence for a fix or disposition | `status` | `references/status.md` | | Summarize open, blocked, and resolved findings | `report` | `references/report.md` |

Ask when the request is ambiguous between a read and a write.

Refinement workflow

When addressing an open finding, read `references/workflow.md` and:

1. preserve the original feedback and source; 2. identify the affected behavior and acceptance evidence; 3. make the narrowest revision that addresses the finding; 4. test the changed behavior with relevant normal, missing, and boundary cases; 5. inspect the actual output when the skill produces an artifact; and 6. record the result, evidence, and any remaining uncertainty before changing the finding's status.

Do not mark a finding resolved because feedback is silent, a source is public, or a test set was repeatedly used for tuning. Preserve an unresolved rights, policy, or evidence question as a blocker.
