Sales call coaching

Review a completed Patrick or Daniel sales-call transcript or archived meeting note for evidence-backed coaching. Use when a founder wants to improve discovery, qualification, objection handling, commitments, follow-up, or next-call language from a prospect or customer conversation. Internal only: do not change CRM, tasks, drafts, or customer-facing material.

# /sales-call-coaching - Founder Call Review

This skill reviews a completed call. It is distinct from `/grilling`, which pressure-tests a future decision interactively; hand off to `/grilling` when a founder wants to role-play the next discovery question or objection response.

Load First

Read:

  • `./references/dependencies/conversint-current/references/skill-operating-standards.md`
  • `./references/dependencies/conversint-current/references/output-paths.md`
  • `./references/dependencies/conversint-current/references/sales-playbook.md`
  • `./references/dependencies/conversint-current/references/sales-evidence.md`
  • the related CRM opportunity through `/crm` when it can be resolved

Use `/transcribe-audio` first for raw audio and `/drive-watch` for unarchived Drive meeting notes.

Review Standard

Ground every finding in the transcript or note. Assess whether the founder:

  • established the business problem and the difference fixing it would make;
  • asked useful value, metric, buyer, decision-process, and timing questions;
  • handled objections plainly and without overclaiming;
  • identified commitments, owners, and the next decision; and
  • used a credible pricing/value anchor when commercial discussion occurred.

Use MEDDPICC only as a private coverage check. Do not produce a generic score or invent missing buyer, budget, or decision data.

Output and Ledger

Return: call objective, supported wins, missed moments with source evidence, commitment follow-through, better next-call language, and one to three practice moves. Do not write `/crm`, tasks, reminders, or drafts.

Before writing, search `./references/dependencies/conversint-current/conversint-admin/sales-coaching/Founder-Sales-Call-Coaching-Ledger.md` for an entry with the same normalized source path or URL. If one exists, update that entry rather than appending a new review. Count only distinct source entries as comparable calls. Otherwise append a compact review:

```markdown ### COACH-### - [Founder] - [Call title]
- **Source:** [path or URL] - **Call objective:** [goal] - **What worked:** [source-backed bullets] - **Missed moments:** [source-backed bullets] - **Commitment follow-through:** [what was agreed, owner, and next decision] - **Evidence:** [short source references supporting the review] - **Practice moves:** [1-3 moves] - **Comparable-call count:** [N] ```
Before three comparable calls exist for the same founder, review the call on its own. At three or more, compare only against that founder's prior reviews using the same criteria. Do not claim peer benchmarks until a future multi-seller review workflow has enough comparable evidence.
Verification
Before finalizing a material skill change, run:
```bash scripts/python scripts/audit-skill-conventions.py .claude/skills/sales-call-coaching --fail-on warn ```
