Customer language analysis

Extract and govern verified customer or prospect language from archived meeting notes, transcripts, supplied call notes, approved public reviews, or approved customer material. Use when Patrick or Daniel needs voice-of-customer evidence, verbatim quotes, recurring pain themes, objection evidence, proposal proof, or content research. Internal only: never publish, attribute, or share a quote externally without explicit approval.

# /voice-of-customer - Internal Customer Evidence

This skill owns verified reusable customer and prospect language. It does not transcribe recordings, archive Drive notes, create customer deliverables, or publish content. Those jobs remain with `/transcribe-audio`, `/drive-watch`, `/scope-engagement`, and `/thought-leadership`.

Load First

Read:

  • `references/skill-operating-standards.md`
  • `references/output-paths.md`
  • `references/sales-evidence.md`
  • `references/conversint-brand.md` Client Context Integrity protocol

Use `/transcribe-audio` first for raw audio and `/drive-watch` for Drive-hosted customer notes that have not yet been archived.

Source and Privacy Rules

Accept only a source path/link or material supplied by the user. Preserve the source URL or local path for every quote. Identify a speaker as customer, prospect, internal, or unknown; do not treat an unknown speaker as customer evidence. Exclude credentials, personal data, private financial figures, and material that would expose a customer confidentially.

Every quote is **internal only**. Public reviews remain internally governed evidence until Patrick explicitly approves a specific `VOC-###` item for external use. Do not transfer this ledger to a customer folder or Drive automatically.

Workflow

1. Read the source and identify useful verbatim language. Separate exact words from paraphrased interpretation. 2. Classify each candidate by theme, speaker confidence, source date, and evidence relevance. Keep only language that supports a sales, proposal, or content-research decision. 3. Deduplicate against `conversint-admin/customer-voice/Customer Voice Evidence Ledger.md` by source plus materially identical quote. 4. Append each new entry with the next `VOC-###` identifier:

```markdown ### VOC-### - [Theme]
- **Quote:** "[verbatim]" - **Speaker:** [name or unknown] ([customer|prospect|internal|unknown], confidence: High|Medium|Low) - **Source:** [path or URL] - **Source date:** [YYYY-MM-DD or unknown] - **Why it matters:** [one source-grounded sentence] - **External use:** Requires explicit approval ```
5. Report added, duplicate, excluded, and uncertain candidates. Never create a public quote, proposal citation, `/crm` row, or follow-up task automatically.
Consumer Handoffs
`/proposal-value-analysis`, `/scope-engagement`, and `/thought-leadership` may use aggregate internal themes. They may quote a specific `VOC-###` entry only when Patrick explicitly selects it and separately approves external use.
Verification
Before finalizing a material skill change, run:
```bash scripts/python scripts/audit-skill-conventions.py .claude/skills/voice-of-customer --fail-on warn ```

Eval Prompts

  1. `/voice-of-customer customers/Example/Meeting Notes/discovery.md`
  2. `/voice-of-customer "approved public review text" --theme onboarding`
  3. `/voice-of-customer customers/Example/Meeting Notes/discovery.md` rerun to verify deduplication.
